Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) company, CCI Global, aims to create 5,000 jobs for Kenyans after launching its 17th contact center in Tatu City, investing US$ 50 million in a five-storey building.
During the launch attended and commissioned by President William Ruto on May 10, CCI Global highlighted that the facility will host call center agents and managers who will handle BPO operations for businesses across the region. With investments in Africa surpassing US$ 2 billion over 20 years, CCI Global has centers in other countries like Rwanda, Egypt, Ethiopia, South Africa, and Ghana. CCI Global has invested US$ 150 million in Kenya since 2016, enabling the country’s BPO workers to scale up their visibility in the both the local and global economy.
“This launch represents a significant step forward in our mission to provide top-tier BPO services while contributing to Kenya’s socio-economic development. We believe in the potential of this region and are excited to set the gold standard for BPO operations in Africa,” said CCI Kenya CEO, Rishi Jatania.
Tatu City has been a prime SEZ in the realm of real estate. By connecting international companies with insightful developers, it has not only endeavored to give its clients well-built structures but also considered the importance of environmental sustainability.
The CCI Global facility will utilize 96% renewable energy in its operations thus reducing carbon emissions, a fete that earned the company two awards from The African Property Awards, the EDGE Green Building, and Sustainability Excellence Associate (SEA).
