President Ruto Revamps Cabinet, Nominates Allies of Uhuru

President William Ruto has announced significant changes within the senior ranks of the executive, including the nomination of several political allies of former President Uhuru Kenyatta.

This announcement comes just days after a meeting with his predecessor. Ruto has nominated former Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe as Cabinet Secretary for the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development, former Nakuru Governor Lee Kinyanjui as Cabinet Secretary for the Ministry of Investments, Trade and Industry, and former Kiambu Governor William Kabogo as Cabinet Secretary for the Ministry of Information, Communications and the Digital Economy.
