Approximately 50 upcoming basketballers benefited from training programme organized by Basketball Africa League,BAL under the initiative BAL4HER at Sabis International School.

The camp targeted players in ages U23,U16 and U18 with the main objective of the programme focusing on advancing gender equity by empowering women and girls in basketball.

The camp identified 20 top U23 female basketball players for intensive skill-building and personal development.

The players were also taken through mental performance training, which included a workshop led by a Sports Psychology expert to enhance the athletes’ mental resilience and game preparation.

The camp culminated with a U16/U18 clinic, engaging 50 girls from the local community in both basketball skills training and mental resilience workshops.

15 of the selected players came from the ongoing Jr. NBA program, which is driven by the desire to nurture basketball talent in Kenya.
