Nigerian music sensation Ayra Starr is set to make her Hollywood debut in the highly anticipated movie adaptation of Children of Blood and Bone, penned by acclaimed Nigerian-American author Tomi Adeyemi.

The Rush hitmaker will star alongside a diverse and talented cast, including Saniyya Sidney (Fences), Zackary Momoh (Harriet), and legendary Nollywood actor Richard Mofe-Damijo (Namaste Wahala).

Other rising stars joining the cast are Pamilerin Ayodeji (Mikolo), Shamz Garuba (Crime and Justice Lagos), Kola Bodunde (Shadow), and Temi Fagbenle.

Notably, Ayodeji and Garuba secured their roles through an open casting call held in Nigeria, further showcasing the film’s commitment to African representation.

The film’s lead cast, announced earlier in February, includes The Woman King star Thuso Mbedu, Amandla Stenberg (The Hate U Give), and British-Nigerian actor Damson Idris (Snowfall).

With the film slated for release in 2027, fans are eagerly anticipating how Ayra Starr will bring her charisma and talent to the big screen, cementing her status as a multi-talented African powerhouse.
