The national men’s rugby team Shujaa registred a mixed bag of results at the ongoing Hong Sevens,the 5th stop of the HSBC World Rugby Sevens circuit.

Patrick Odongo sprinted the length of the field to score Kenya’s first try. George Ooro scored Kenya’s second try after a well timed pass from John Kubu.

Samuel Asati dived over to score Kenya’s third try for the emphatic win that ended Kenya’s 6-match losing streak in the circuit.

However Kenya lost its second group C match after going down, narrowly 12-07 to Great Brittain .Kenya will wind up its pool matches against France on Saturday morning.

With two legs to go Kenya is ranked 9th on the 12 team standings one place aove the play off slots.
