Godfrey Okumu in Busia has been crowned the ‘King of Chapatis’.

Residents of Busia were shocked when two mechanics faced off in a competition to determine the champion of chapatis at Busia’s Fastest Eater competition.

The two, Godfrey Okumu and Henry Otieno, attracted an excited crowd who cheered them on.

“Today, I have witnessed wonders,” one man in the crowd said. “If I try to eat even more than two chapatis, by the third, I’d be on the ground.”

Godfrey Okumu emerged the winner after eating 25 chapatis.
