Kenya’s comedic content creator and football fanatic, Arap Uria, continues to live the dream, this time rubbing shoulders with some of Chelsea FC’s biggest stars at their training headquarters in Cobham, West London.

Uria, known for his hilarious football-themed skits and viral impressions of commentators, was clearly in his element as he met Spanish International Marc Cucurella, rising English centre-back Levi Colwill, and energetic midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.

A self-confessed Cucurella fan, Uria wasted no time sharing his enthusiasm. “Make sure you win on Saturday and I want to see that penguin goal celebration!” he urged the defender with a smile.

Cucurella, laughing, asked, “Are you going to be on the pitch?”

“No, but I’ll be watching live. If you don’t win, I’m not going back to Kenya—you’ll have to host me here!” Uria teased, to which Cucurella replied, “If we win, you’re coming back to the stadium!”

The lighthearted exchange ended with a fun penalty shootout between the two, with Cucurella slipping one past Uria, much to everyone’s amusement.

But Uria did not stop there, he introduced the Chelsea trio to a bit of Kenyan culture, teaching them the Kalenjin word “Achamin” (meaning “I love you”) and the iconic Swahili phrase, “Hakuna Matata.” The players gamely tried to pronounce them, laughing along the way.

Later, Uria had another star-struck moment when Lauren James, a standout for Chelsea Women and sister to men’s captain Reece James pulled over for a quick selfie. He did not miss the chance to shoot his shot.

“See who I met today! Reece James, how many cows do you want? I’m taking her to Kenya,” he joked on social media, sharing the snap with a big grin.

Reflecting on the unforgettable day, Uria posted:

“The Chelsea training ground experience was awesome. Meeting the players of a club I deeply value was a dream come true. Huge thanks to @predatorenergyafrica for making it happen.”

On Saturday, he had a chance to watch the blues live in action as the hosted Everton at the Stamford Bridge, where Chelsea won by a goal, courtesy of a Nicholas Jackson strike.

This isn’t his first brush with Premier League stars either, just a few months ago, he had a similar meet-and-greet with Arsenal players in Dubai.

From humble beginnings to Europe’s elite training grounds, Arap Uria continues to bring laughter, culture, and charisma wherever football takes him
