Nick Cannon, the 44-year-old comedian, TV host, and father of 12, has made headlines by insuring his testicles for a whopping $10 million (Sh 1.29B)

Although he had earlier said in 2024, it wasn’t until yesterday, 1st May, 2025 that he revealed the details of the whole undertaking.

During an episode of the Tea Time with Raven & Miranda podcast, Nick called his testicles his “most valuable asset.”

With each testicle insured for $5 million (sh 647 million)

The policy, dubbed “Ball-to-Ball Coverage,” was first taken in as a joke but he confirmed its legitimacy saying his decision to insure his testicles began as collaboration with Dr. Squatch, a company specializing in men’s grooming products.

“Dr. Squatch, who is like, they’re known for like manscaping and all that stuff,” Cannon said of the company.

“They were like, ‘Yo, a lot of celebrity women are insuring their legs in case something goes wrong.”

He went on to share that he was asked what his “most valuable asset” was, to which he replied, “My balls!”

The insurance ensures that, in the event of an injury to his testicles, the payout would go directly to his 12 children, whom he shares with six women.
“If I happen to lose one, all the money goes to my kids,” he further clarified.

Immediately after saying that, Alyssa Scott, one of his baby mamas took to social media to shade the decision, sarcastically noting that at least her daughter might “get some of your $” if anything happens to him.

Although him insuring his testicles is a first in Hollywood, this wasn’t his first brush with insuring valuable assets.

His ex-wife, Mariah Carey, earlier on had also insured her legs and vocal cords for a combined $70 million (approximately sh 9.1B).
