Former President Uhuru Kenyatta and Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka were among the high-profile guests who attended the wedding of David James Kimoi, son of KANU Chairman and former Baringo Senator Gideon Moi.

The ceremony, held in a private but elegant affair, brought together close family, political allies, and friends to celebrate the union of James and his bride.

The event marked a rare public appearance for both Kenyatta and Kalonzo, who were warmly received by the Moi family.

Speaking during the event, Kalonzo Musyoka congratulated the newlyweds and lauded the Moi family for upholding values of family and respect.

Though not speaking formally, Uhuru was seen engaging warmly with guests and sharing light moments with former colleagues.

The wedding, while primarily a personal occasion, sparked public interest given the prominence of those in attendance.

It also offered a moment of reflection on the changing dynamics of Kenya’s political alliances, as figures like Kenyatta and Kalonzo continue to shape public discourse even outside active office.

The event concluded with traditional music, dance, and a reception that blended celebration with family pride.

For the Moi family, it was not only a joyful milestone but a gathering that subtly reaffirmed their lasting influence in Kenya’s social and political spheres.
