Kenyan rapper Wangechi has come out alleging that one of these fine days, she will talk of a predator in the music industry.
She sent out a cryptic message hinting on a major scandal.

The post has garnered interest and drawn reactions from different industry players as she compared the unnamed person with American music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, who faces over 70 sexual assault lawsuits since 2023.
Her statement has led to lots of speculations with many X users urging Wangechi to speak out immediately.
Others began speculating about the unnamed figure, with many pointing fingers at a popular Kenyan music producer previously accused of seeking sexual favours from female artistes.
Screenshots of old newspaper articles detailing past allegations against this producer began circulating widely, fueling the online frenzy.
The alleged producer hasn’t said a thing up to now.
As of now, the producer who many believe he might be the one behind the scandal, has not publicly responded to the allegations swirling around him.
Wangechi, too, has remained silent since her initial post, leaving netizens to speculate further.
Another faction of hawkeyed netizens accused another renowned producer, Tedd Josiah, who has had a history of working with prominent artistes.
He was forced to respond to the allegations that he was not the unnamed figure in Kenya’s music industry. In a response on X Josiah denied the claims, stating, “Last female artist I worked with was Naz, and that’s the only female rapper I ever worked with.”
He urged Wangechi to share details of their private conversation, adding, “Ask @wangechikenya what me and her spoke about, then ask about the truth if she’s willing to open her heart about it.”

Josiah, however, emphasized that the decision to disclose more was hers.
He further warned another X user from dragging him in the story.
“I don’t play these games. Defamation can cause u a lot of heartache son. Be careful because this lady would have to say the truth and that would cost u A LOT,” he posted.
