Deputy President Kithure Kindiki and President William Ruto’s
aide on Sunday attended an Interdenominational church Service at Amagoro
Primary School Grounds, Busia County.
It is Kindiki’s first visit to the county since he took over
as Deputy President.
During the service, Kindiki said the government respects and
acknowledges the noble role played by the church and other religious
organizations in the socio-economic development of the people.
Present at the service was Cabinet Secretary for
Environment, Climate Change and Forestry Dr. Deborah Barasa, MPs; Oku Kaunya
(Teso North), Mary Emase (Teso South), and Geoffrey Mulanya (Nambale).
Several Members of the County Assembly (MCAs), religious and
community leaders were in attendance.
