Share The Love Centre in Kenol, Murang’a County, was buzzing with excitement as friends, family, and creatives gathered for a gala celebrating the international success of PROPHET SUDDENLY 3, a Kenyan Christian film that has amassed over one million views on YouTube in just 48 hours.

Shot across Kenya, Nigeria, and the USA, the film aims to bridge cultures and faith communities, delivering a prophetic message that resonates beyond borders.

The film is being hailed as a defining moment for the Christian film industry, merging ministry with media to amplify kingdom impact.

At the event, guests walked the red carpet in elegant attire while worship music set a reflective yet celebratory atmosphere.

Leaders from various ministries, gospel musicians, actors, and filmmakers gathered to recognise Bishop John CW’s contributions to both ministry and media.

Bishop John, who plays a major role in the film, was feted for his performance and involvement in the project, which has significantly raised the profile of Christian film in Kenya and inspired a renewed sense of purpose among young believers in the creative arts.

“I remember the day we were shooting the shrine scene and of course some of my lines included chanting to sermon the evil spirit. There was an attack and I felt it. I left the set, told the director to excuse me. I went into my office and prayed and asked the Lord for strength that day, my wife’s car lost breaks on the highway at night near Witeithie, my personal assistant was attacked in Nairobi and lost her phone, and one of my Pastors lost her documents including her ID. In the spirit I recorded that one as an attack on mobility, communication and identity respectively,” he shares.

The evening featured live performances, video highlights from the film, and a moment of prayer and prophetic commissioning for the Kenyan creative industry.

Bishop John CW emphasised that the film’s success signals a call for the church to actively engage and influence culture through the arts and entertainment sectors.

“We will not limit the gospel to the pulpit, God has called us to preach through every platform available. From the film industry to the creative arts, we will tell His story in every language the world understands.” He informs TNX.

Rev Eva CW, the bishop’s wife stated that God has indeed chosen to use creative arts for His Glory.
