The National Transport and Safety Authority has announced planned
scheduled system maintenance.
The system will not be available from Friday, June 20, at 10 pm to Saturday, June 21, 2024, at 2 pm.
NTSA said that all their services will be intermittently unavailable during the period.
“The Authority plans to conduct scheduled system maintenance
from 10 pm, Friday, June 20, 2025, to Saturday, June 21, 2025, 2 pm,” NTSA
said in a statement.
“We apologise for any inconvenience that might be caused as
a result of the maintenance.”
NTSA is an agency responsible for transport safety
regulation and enforcement, dedicated to creating safer roads for all Kenyans.
It was established through an Act of Parliament, NTSA Act
No. 33 of 2012 and is dedicated to harmonising the operations of the key road transport
departments and helping in effectively managing the road transport sub-sector
and minimising traffic accidents.
NTSA is responsible for implementing policies relating to
road transport and safety, registering and licensing motor vehicles, conducting
motor vehicle inspections, certification and regulating public service vehicles.
Others are regulating public service vehicles, advising
the government on national road transport and safety matters and developing and
implementing road safety strategies
NTSA also develops and implements road safety strategies.
