Rapper Juliani and his wife, Lilian Ng’ang’a, have ignited speculation over the state of their relationship after making rare joint appearances, including a heartwarming moment during her recent birthday celebration.

Juliani shared brief but telling clips of Lilian dancing gleefully in a chic black outfit, surrounded by close friends and a shower of confetti.

The musician captioned the post on his Instagram stories, “am elated btw kwa moyo,” hinting at a quiet but significant presence on her special day.

Though lacking his usual poetic flair, the posts did not go unnoticed by fans who have closely followed the couple’s journey.

Their joint appearance came just a week after they were spotted together celebrating Father’s Day. The pair enjoyed a low-key lunch with their son, Utheri, a moment Lilian captioned simply as “Father’s Day,” while Juliani cheekily responded, “Mama nani has done the thing.”

These back-to-back sightings have sparked online speculation, especially since the duo hadn’t been seen publicly together in months.

Rumours of a breakup had gained traction earlier in the year, fuelled by their Instagram activity, both unfollowed each other, Lilian was seen without her wedding ring, and most of their romantic posts had quietly disappeared.

In March 2025, Lilian seemed to confirm the split during an interview, stating: “I never struggle to hold on to something when it’s time to move on,” adding that she chooses to focus on the memories and lessons rather than the past.

Her words appeared to mark a point of closure. However, in a cryptic response back in September 2024, Juliani suggested otherwise, telling critics they could “dig all they wanted and still not know the full truth,” hinting at more beneath the surface.

The couple’s love story has captivated the public since 2021, when Lilian parted ways with former Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua.

She and Juliani wed in 2022 and welcomed a son later that year. Yet, by late 2023, their public appearances dwindled, giving rise to whispers of a separation.

Now, with these recent moments, subtle yet intimate, fans are left guessing. Are they slowly finding their way back to each other or simply coexisting peacefully for their son’s sake?

While neither Juliani nor Lilian has addressed the current state of their relationship, their quiet unity speaks volumes.
