Former Chief Justice David Maraga is the latest guest at the balcony kitchen of Olympian-turned-chef Dennis Ombachi.
Photos and videos shared on X showed Maraga grilling spicy chicken in the company of Ombachi.
“Good chicken requires a bit of spicing,” Maraga was heard saying in the video, which was captioned, “Something’s cooking!!!!!!”
Maraga’s visit to Ombachi’s kitchen has since elicited reactions from different quarters online, putting him in the list of celebrities who have been hosted by the former rugby star.
“Ombachi’s neighbors are the luckiest people. Imagine ukiendea maziwa asubuhi bila bra and here comes the 6th himself,” one user posted, referencing Maraga’s political aspirations.
Another said, “Is this enough aura to those people ama ajikaze kaze?”

“He’s playing the game right,” a user observed. “Maraga has understood the power of social media. Increased X engagements, went to Iko Nini podcast and now at the balcony. The 6th”
The appearance followed an earlier online suggestion from @BrianMutuma_: “I hope Ombachi atahost Maraga btw. ? ule uncle anahitaji kuonekana sana the next two years.”
Ombachi responded, “Done!” and later followed through.
