As a sign of good faith, kindly call off your so-called conclave talks. What the youth and the majority of Kenyans are saying is that you should first talk to President William Ruto to restore constitutional and democratic governance.

Raila, help to stop the ongoing killings, abductions, and the charging of poor, unemployed youths with terrorism. The youth are saying that they cannot trust you or Ruto if you do not keep your word even on your MoU with each other.

Ask Senator Edwin Sifuna to show you how your broad-based government has so extensively violated the MoU, yet you are unable and unwilling to enforce it. You have lost credibility and cannot be trusted with the leadership of our country.

The President is scared of the youths because they have decided that his regime cannot kill and lead them. The youth have the full support of more than 84 per cent of Kenyans.

Raila, we urge you to support the Youth-led People’s Convention to be held this August. The convention is different from your dialogue conclave proposal. Your dialogue is an attempt at forcing the tormented to talk to our killers, abductors and violators so that they can note who to go for after the conclave if they refuse to be co-opted or bribed.

Who told Ruto that it’s his right to be president even when he violates the oath of office and the Constitution 38 times with impunity? I request you to support our call for Nane Nane People’s Assemblies across the republic.

Insulting us

What stops this killer regime from implementing the 14-point demand that the Gen Z handed Ruto last year? The issues addressed included the slaying of the dragon of corruption, cutting the number of advisers by 50 per cent, restoring healthcare, education, public debt audit and lowering taxes and the cost of living, among others. Why do you and Ruto need to meet us before you can keep your word? What do you lack?

Can your MPs, yes ODM MPs, stop insulting us by calling us Gachagua’s paid up protestors and commercial Gen Z? We have nothing to do with Gachagua. Our resolve is to sweep all those who were in Kibaki, Uhuru and Ruto regimes out because none of you is interested in doing the right thing.

We have raised the issue of justice for the victims of the 2023, 2024 and now 2025 regime abductions, torture, extrajudicial killings and enforced disappearances.

You, like us, know that we can not get justice. You know that the promises in your MoU with Ruto on justice to the regime’s victims and survivors have not been honoured. In fact, more acts of injustices have since been perpetrated with impunity under your watch.

We do not want more dialogue. Ruto has said that we are targeting him because he is a Kalenjin. Didn’t we work with him to defeat BBI? Didn’t we work with him to defeat Kibaki’s Wako Kilifi draft? Raila, as a statesman that I have voted four times as presidential candidate, I plead with you to stand for what is right.
