Grammy-winning Nigerian sensation Tems is set to grace the stage at Blankets & Wine on September 28, 2025.
This marks her highly anticipated return to Kenya after a two-year absence. Her last scheduled performance, back in October 2022, was unfortunately cancelled, leaving many fans disappointed.
The Nigerian superstar’s performance is official and she will be headlining Nairobi’s iconic music, arts, and lifestyle festival!
Event organisers broke the exciting news via X (formerly Twitter) on Thursday evening, declaring:
“Get ready for an unforgettable time on September 28th as we bring together an electrifying lineup featuring the sensational talents.”

This will be Tems’ very first performance in Kenya since her incredible international breakthrough. It comes hot on the heels of her historic appearance at the FIFA Club World Cup Final halftime show in New Jersey earlier this month.
That performance earned her widespread praise, solidifying her status as a global star. Joining Tems on stage will be a strong lineup of East African talent, making this year’s Blankets & Wine one of the most exciting editions yet.
Willis Chimano, a member of the popular group Sauti Sol, Chimano is known for his bold fashion sense and unique vocals and will also perform, with fans promised an edgy, genre-blending performance.
Zaituni Wambui, the creative force behind ‘Urban Taarab’ is set to deliver a performance that blends deep cultural roots with a modern twist.
Uganda based Joshua Baraka who shot to fame with his viral hit ‘Wrong Places’ and Toxic Lyrikali, known for his raw, street-infused delivery and sharp lyrical prowess, will bring a fusion of sweet, mellow and rap music.
The announcement sparked a huge buzz across social media. Many users are calling it the “best Blankets & Wine lineup in years.”
After two long years of waiting, fans are more than ready to sing every single lyric back to her. Nairobi, prepare for a truly unforgettable night!
