Arbantone artiste Vj Patelo has stunned fans after claiming that his now-viral wedding to his sweetheart Diana cost a staggering KSh500 million.
In an interview with media personality Oga Obinna, the flamboyant “Last Man” hitmaker dropped jaws as he confidently revealed, “Iyo wedding imecost Sh.500 million. Ivo tu.”
When probed for a breakdown, he simply smiled and brushed off the curiosity without further details.
Patelo, known for his street swag and flashy style, revealed that his wedding outfit alone cost KSh1.7 million. The ensemble included a white tuxedo jacket, bow tie, black trousers, white shirt, shiny dress shoes, silver chains, and a whole lot of swagger.
But the extravagance didn’t end there. His ten groomsmen, dressed in matching black suits, white tuxedo shirts, bow ties, sneakers, and caps, reportedly cost KSh2.2 million in total.
The clique made a grand entrance in a sleek black limousine, drinks in hand, hyping their boy’s big day in style.
“Suti yangu ilikuwa Sh.1.7 million. A mabeshte wangu walikuwa kumi, total ilikuwa Sh.2.2 million,” Patelo said.
Diana, glowing in an elegant open-back white gown, revealed she got her dress from Dubai for KSh1.6 million. She praised her husband’s energy and charisma, saying she was drawn to his “ungwash”, a ”slang term for bad-boy charm.
“He is everything I ever wanted. Napenda vile ako na ungwash,” she smiled.
And as for the cake? It wasn’t your average tiered treat. The couple claimed it was specially imported from Dubai, and it lit up. Literally.
“Iyo keki haikuwa normal cake. Iliimportiwa kutoka Dubai na ilikuwa na lights,” Patelo added proudly.
The interview took a cheeky turn when Obinna asked about their age difference. Patelo revealed he was 26 while Diana is 29, a gap that didn’t seem to faze the couple.
“Age haimatter,” he said nonchalantly.
Social media lit up after the video aired, with fans offering mixed reactions. Some doubted Diana’s age, others praised her composed demeanour.
“The simplicity in the lady, very calm,” one user posted. Another quipped, “They’re not Romeo and Juliet, they’re Morio and Juliet.”
