“My body is completely broken, broken into small pieces and I don’t know how to put the pieces back,” she wrote, adding that she was 9cm dilated for eight hours before being taken “under the knife.”

Despite the pain, Jovial said she’s leaning on her faith to get through this challenging chapter. “God is my strength and I wanna go on this healing journey calm and quietly,” she told her followers.

While she plans to stay away from the spotlight to focus on recovery, the Mombasa-born star assured fans that new music will still be coming. “I have some music to release… that’s what I know best,” she affirmed.

Jovial ended her message by thanking fans for their love and support, asking to be allowed the silence she needs to “find herself” again.
