Kenyan actor Dedan Juma, popularly known as Zeze and celebrated for his recent role in the Showmax drama Pepeta, has been hospitalized at Kenyatta University Referral Hospital after being diagnosed with meningitis.
According to his family, Juma has been admitted for the past five days, and his medical bill has already risen to Sh100,000 — a figure that continues to grow.
“Any contribution will be deeply appreciated,” the family said in a statement shared alongside a photo of the actor in his hospital bed.
They are appealing to friends, fans, and well-wishers to help ease the financial burden.
The appeal lists the M-Pesa Paybill number 400200 and account number 01116104141000 for those willing to assist.
Fans and fellow actors have already begun rallying behind him, flooding social media with messages of support and encouragement.
