Tanzanian music superstar Diamond Platnumz has fired a strong warning to fans and the media, making it crystal clear that no one is authorized to speak on his behalf about his career or personal life.

In a fiery Instagram Story posted early Tuesday morning, the African Beauty hitmaker declared that any information circulating about him, whether from close associates or complete outsiders should be dismissed unless it comes directly from him.

“ONYO! Sijateua yeyote kuwa msemaji wa career ama maisha yangu,” he wrote, warning that believing such claims is “your own foolishness” and that fans should not blame him for any consequences.

The Bongo Flava king emphasized that if there’s ever a need to share details about his life, he will do so personally. “Nitapohitaji kutoa taarifa ama ujumbe wowote kuhusu maisha yangu, nitaongea mwenyewe,” he asserted.

This comes amid ongoing speculation about Diamond’s personal relationships, business ventures, and upcoming projects a staple in East African entertainment gossip. While the singer did not name names, his tone left no doubt that he is fed up with people speaking “on his behalf.”

The star, who recently caused a buss following the revelations that he is working on a new album which will feature US artiste Fabulous, seems determined to take back control of his narrative.

This comes as critics point fingers to media personality and Wasafi FM presenter Baba Levo who ruffled feathers the wrong way when he posted on his Instagram a video clip of Diamond and Mbosso in the studeio during the making of hit song Pawa.

Baba Levo went to state that the melodious part of the song was created by his boss Diamond, and this led to the buzz as fans of both artistes started beefing online.

Singer and rapper Wakazi was among those to tell off presenter, saying that Diamond has benefitted from same arrangements where other artistes helped him too.

For fans and tabloids, the message is simple: If it did not come from Diamond Platnumz’s own mouth (or social media), it is not official and believing otherwise might just earn you a scolding from the Wasafi boss himself.
