City businesswoman Damaris Muriithi, popularly known as Dama Mobile Spares, has called out musician and philanthropist Karangu Muraya after another audio leaked from his estranged marriage to Triza Njeri.
In a candid and lengthy post, Dama criticized Karangu’s handling of his marriage struggles, urging him to reconcile with his wife Triza instead of being swayed by the excitement of a new relationship.
“Karangu, how will you afford to lose everything: your brand, your family, your image, your influence, your friends, your jobs, your religious authorities, just because of someone who has nothing to lose? Like how? Why?” she asked.
She further told Karangu to take responsibility for the recordings instead of blaming others.
“Don’t blame those who spread the audios; blame yourself for recording them. You know who did that; otherwise, no blogger has access to your personal phones,” Dama wrote.
Dama also offered some advice to the popular philanthropist:
“Now that the marriage between you and Triza is not working, remove your family affairs from social media. Sit down with sober people who will guide you on peaceful co-parenting. You are the only one who has the power,” she said.
Her remarks followed the leak of yet another audio of Karangu engaged in a bitter argument with Triza.
In the recording, Triza can be heard breathing heavily and sounding visibly distressed as she threatened to leave the marriage, allowing Karangu and Carol to continue their relationship.
She also made chilling remarks about her life should she walk away, while Karangu appeared to dismiss her words as mere threats.
“I will leave this house without any argument if that is what you want. Mahali umenifikisha Karangu, there is nothing else to discuss. You are rich now; you even have a car worth KSh 3 million. I am telling you, I will become history, and you will talk about me as history,” Triza is heard saying in the audio.
Earlier, a tearful Karangu had shared a live video in which he opened up about his marital struggles and the hate he has faced on social media.
“There are people who are against me and have constantly been setting fires on my name. I have no vendetta with anyone. I have seen accusations against me that I have embezzled funds from my charity drives. Why has no one come out to claim?” Karangu questioned.
He also revealed the toll the negativity has taken on his children.
“Those who are paying bloggers to tarnish my name, what wrong did I do? My daughter called me crying last night because of this. Please, leave me alone. Do not beat a man when he is down,” he said before breaking down in tears.
Karangu later clarified that the leaked audio was from the past, long before the couple rose to fame.
