The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, is back in the spotlight with the second season of her Netflix show With Love, Meghan, filmed near her Montecito, California home.
The reality series, which documents her lifestyle brand, features celebrity guests including model Chrissy Teigen and fashion designer Tan France.
It offers viewers a glimpse into her personal life, family routines, and lighthearted stories from her past.
Meghan revealed that she makes breakfast almost every morning, calling it a “sacred time” for her family.
She even shared her recipe for “surprise pancakes,” which include ground flax and chia seeds.
“Lili will ask me, ‘Can I have chia seeds? I want it to have freckles,’” she laughed. “The ritual of breakfast is a minute of calm before the day begins.”
The Duchess also reflected on her early acting days, admitting she would treat herself to a McDonald’s apple pie after successful auditions. Best known for her role in Suits, she described those moments as small but meaningful victories.
In more personal revelations, Meghan said Prince Harry was the first to say “I love you,” during a camping trip in Botswana.
The couple’s life together is a recurring theme in the series, though Harry and their children, Archie and Lilibet, do not appear on camera.
The show also steers clear of the Royal Family and the much-reported rift, focusing instead on lifestyle and lighthearted moments.
Among them was Chef José Andrés’ surprise at learning Harry isn’t fond of lobster. “No way. And you married him?” Andrés teased, to which Meghan laughed.
The Duchess also shared what she misses most about the UK—Magic Radio. When Tan France dismissed it as “such a grandma station,” she quipped back: “I’ll be that grandma.”
