French Montana is now engaged to Dubai royal Sheikha Mahra Mohammed Rashed Al Maktoum.
The 40-year-old rapper popped the question during Paris Fashion Week in June, shortly after making his runway debut at the 3. Paradis Ready-to-Wear Spring/Summer 2026 show, according to TMZ.
The milestone marked both a professional highlight and a deeply personal one, as he sealed the next chapter of his relationship with the 31-year-old princess.
The romance between the French and Sheikha Mahra has unfolded gradually in the public eye.
The pair was first linked in October 2024, when Mahra, daughter of Dubai ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, posted photos of herself giving the “Stay Schemin” star a tour of her city.
Their bond became undeniable this summer when they stepped out together at multiple Paris Fashion Week events, holding hands in front of the cameras.
For Sheikha Mahra, the engagement follows a very public breakup.
She was previously married to Sheikh Mana bin Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mana Al Maktoum, with whom she shares a young daughter.
Their split made headlines in July 2024 after Mahra declared the end of their marriage on Instagram with a blunt message beginning, “Dear Husband,” and ending with the repeated phrase, “I divorce you.”
Her words echoed the Islamic practice of “triple talaq,” a controversial tradition that allows men, but not women, to end a marriage by repeating the phrase three times.
Though her post carried no legal weight, Mahra signaled she was moving on the following month by sharing a photo with her daughter captioned, “Just the two of us.”
As for French Montana, he is no stranger to high-profile relationships, having previously dated Khloe Kardashian, Iggy Azalea, and Rubi Rose.
While he has remained quiet on his latest engagement, his past comments on dating someone in the middle of a divorce offer perspective.
“It’s real emotional, it’s a sensitive space for them,” he told Elle back in 2016. “But sometimes you have to sacrifice for what you want.”
