Conjoined twins Abby and Brittany Hensel have sparked speculation after being spotted carrying a newborn baby in Minnesota, raising questions about whether they recently welcomed a child with husband Josh Bowling.
The sisters, who married U.S. Army veteran and nurse Bowling in 2021, were photographed by The U.S. Sun outside the New Brighton school where they work as fifth-grade teachers.
The pair had earlier stopped at a McDonald’s drive-thru before arriving at the school.
In the viral photos, the twins were seen in a striped, leopard-print tank top, denim shorts, and black sandals while holding a baby carrier.
At one point, they were seen introducing the child to a colleague and reportedly spent about half an hour outside the school with the baby.

Abby and Brittany, who are dicephalic parapagus twins—meaning they have two heads but share one body—have not commented on whether the baby belongs to them. Neither has Bowling, who already has a daughter, Isabella, from his first marriage.
The couple’s 2021 wedding was only made public in 2024 through a TikTok post and visuals obtained by Today. Following their marriage, Abby officially became a stepmother to Isabella.
The Hensels first rose to fame in the 1990s after appearing on The Oprah Winfrey Show, where they spoke about their hopes of one day becoming mothers.
A 2003 documentary further explored the twins’ lives, while their 2012 TLC reality series followed their college years and personal milestones.
The recent images of them with a newborn have reignited public interest. Social media reactions were mixed, with some users expressing curiosity while others offered congratulations.
One user on X wrote, “I have so many questions I don’t know where to start.”
Another added, “Congratulations to them. Being a mother is a blessing.”
For now, the twins have neither confirmed nor denied whether they have welcomed a baby of their own.
