Brian Belio, the son of Immigration Principal Secretary Belio Kipsang, has tied the knot with his fiancée, Nicole Lang’at, the daughter of billionaire businessman Dr. David Lang’at.
The intimate church wedding took place a month after the couple’s lavish pre-wedding celebration.
The groom wore a white suit jacket paired with black pants as he walked into the church hand-in-hand with his parents.
Nicole stunned in a white gown and stilettos as the two exchanged vows before family and friends.
Though little is known about the actual ceremony, clips from the day went viral on social media, sparking congratulatory messages from Kenyans.
Halima Amiri wrote on TikTok, “Congratulations to them.” Another user, Kiptoo Kipsang, added, “Love is a beautiful thing.”
The couple’s pre-wedding, however, is what stole the public’s attention. Hosted in Nairobi’s leafy Karen suburb, the star-studded event drew top political and business leaders, including President William Ruto and his family.
The highlight of the evening was a live performance by Tanzanian star Juma Jux, who flew in from Dar es Salaam with his wife, Priscilla Ojo.
Dressed in a sharp tuxedo, the Sina Neno hitmaker serenaded the crowd with romantic tunes, while Priscilla turned heads in a chic black mini dress.
After the performance, Juma Jux shared a photo on Instagram posing alongside President William Ruto, First Lady Rachel Ruto, and Dr. David Lang’at.
“Honored to perform at a beautiful VIP engagement in Nairobi, in the presence of H.E. the President of Kenya. Beyond the music, I gained a new family, humble, kind, and full of love. Asanteni sana for the warm welcome and unforgettable memories. Congratulations Dr. David (DL) and Hellen Langat for celebrating the engagement of their daughter Eng. Nicole,” the Ex Wangu singer captioned.
President Ruto’s attendance added a sense of national significance to the private celebration. During the evening, he offered his blessings to the couple, marking the event as one to remember.
