They will be joined by several new actors, including Ben Hardy from X-Men: Apocalypse and Mia Tomlinson. The film is set for release on 5 September 2025.

The Long Walk

This film is about a deadly competition in which a group of young men must walk until only one of them is left standing. Based on a 1979 book by Stephen King and directed by Francis Lawrence.

The Smashing Machine

Frankenstein

Legendary director Guillermo del Toro gave the world Pinocchio, the Oscar-winning film The Shape of Water, and now Frankenstein. He once expressed his love for monster stories, and in this film, he fantastically offers another take on Mary Shelley’s famous book, in which a scientist becomes so obsessed with his work that he brings a living monster to life.

This ultimately leads to his own downfall. The film features a star-studded cast including Oscar Isaac as Viktor Frankenstein, Jacob Elordi as the Monster, Mia Goth, and Christoph Waltz. The film is set to premiere on 17 October.

Avatar: Fire and Ash

This is the third film in the Avatar franchise. It is expected to take viewers back to Pandora and introduce them to the Na’vi people, but with new places and clans. The film introduces a group called the ‘Ash People’, who represent fire and are less friendly than the Na’vi in previous films.

The highly anticipated film features new characters, including Michelle Yeoh, who will play a human scientist named Dr Karina Mogue, and Oona Chaplin, who will play the villainous Na’vi character Varang. The film is set to premiere on 19 December 2025.
