Musalia Mudavadi’s son, Ex-senator’s daughter tie knot in lavish traditional ceremony

Moses Mudavadi, son of Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi, recently tied the knot with Qillian Saiya, daughter of former GSU Commandant William Atswenje Saiya and former Kakamega Senator Naomi Masitsa Shiyonga, in a vibrant traditional wedding.

The groom stood out in a dark blue suit with custom detailing, paired with a neat haircut and a full beard, while the bride dazzled in a multicoloured bodycon gown complemented by striking jewellery.

Her bridesmaids added a touch of flair in matching orange outfits.

The colourful celebration, held at the Saiya family home in Malava Constituency, featured an orange-and-blue theme that extended from the décor to the floral arrangements.

The event was graced by high-profile guests, turning it into a lavish showcase of culture and elegance.

Mudavadi, visibly delighted, was seen seated in the front row beside the newlyweds as family and friends presented gifts to the couple.

Online, social media users welcomed the union with heartfelt congratulatory messages.

John Milaya wrote on Facebook, “Congratulations to them.”

Another user, Justina Kerubo, commented, “The rich marry the rich… anyways, congratulations to them”

The lavish wedding comes just days after Brian Belio, the son of Immigration Principal Secretary Belio Kipsang, tied the knot with his fiancée, Nicole Lang’at, the daughter of billionaire businessman Dr. David Lang’at.

The intimate church wedding took place a month after the couple’s lavish pre-wedding celebration, with the ceremony igniting debate on the nature of high profile weddings such as the two.
