American rapper Playboi Carti is once again making headlines this time for all the wrong reasons. The Sky hitmaker was recently slapped with a misdemeanor assault charge after an alleged altercation with a limousine driver while on tour in Utah earlier this month.

According to TMZ, police reports reveal that the incident took place on October 2, when a limo driver identified as Carl Reynolds was transporting Carti, real name Jordan Terrell Carter and his entourage from the Waldorf Astoria in Park City to a rehearsal for his ongoing Antagonist Tour

Things reportedly took a dramatic turn when Carti and his girlfriend began arguing heatedly in the back seat, allegedly over an intimate matter. Reynolds claims he attempted to de-escalate the situation, but the “Miss the Rage” rapper became aggressive, allegedly threatening to harm both the driver and his girlfriend.

Reynolds told authorities that Carti struck his girlfriend in the chest during the argument, prompting him to pull over on the highway near Heber City for safety. Though the driver said he did not directly witness the punch, he observed the woman hunched over and clutching her chest, according to a police report obtained by TMZ.

As Reynolds called on Carti’s security to calm him down, things escalated further. The driver alleges that when the rapper’s girlfriend tried to exit the vehicle, Carti punched him in the face without warning, leaving him with a bruised and swollen jaw.

Security personnel reportedly intervened to stop the altercation. Another driver on the scene confirmed witnessing the punch, and Wasatch County police documented Reynolds’ injuries with photographs.

While the rapper has not been charged in connection with the alleged assault on his girlfriend, he now faces a misdemeanor assault charge related to the attack on the limo driver.

The “Magnolia” rapper, known for his wild performances and edgy persona, has yet to publicly comment on the allegations. The incident adds to a growing list of controversies surrounding the Atlanta native as his *Antagonist Tour* continues across the U.S.
