Kenyan actress and media personality Serah Teshna has made her long-awaited film debut with BUS 338, which premiered in London to a wave of excitement and acclaim.
The premiere marks a new chapter in Teshna’s evolving creative journey; one that comes shortly after she launched her own film company, signaling her bold move into film production and global storytelling.
Sharing her gratitude in an emotional post after the premiere, Teshna described the experience as “historic” and thanked her fans, friends, and partners for their support.
However, she was categorical in giving flower to her husband, football star and former Harambee Stars captain, Victor Wanyama.
“With my best friend by my side, I couldn’t be more grateful for the support I got during this historic moment. London, I’m forever indebted to you,” she wrote. “I’m humbled, inspired, and motivated more than ever. You have fuelled me to keep going. I’m lost for words — this moment will live in my heart forever.”
The London premiere brought together an array of film enthusiasts, sponsors, and industry figures, marking an important moment for Kenya’s growing presence in global cinema.
BUS 338 has been described as a gripping drama that explores human resilience and the complexities of fate — a story that Teshna helped bring to life through her new production outfit.
Drawn from herinitials, Serah Ndanu Teshna, SNT is a passion project five years in the making that she has quietly been building behind the scenes.
She describes it as a journey of patience, resilience and vision, one that’s both rewarding and challenging.
“I’ve been laying the foundation, learning the business side of film, building networks, and investing in development.”
“Founding SNT Productions was about creating a home where these stories could live and ensuring that the people behind them, both in front of and behind the camera, have their work valued,” she says.
