American superstar Jennifer Lopez pocketed a staggering Sh259,300,000 ($2 million) to perform at the lavish wedding of billionaire Netra Mantena and groom Vamsi Gadiraju in Udaipur, India.
The opulent ceremony, staged against the city’s regal backdrop, drew a galaxy of international A-listers including USA President’s son Donald Trump Junior, his girlfriend Bettina Anderson, and celebrated Bollywood figures like Ranveer Singh, Dia Mirza, Amyra Dastur and Sophie Choudry.
According to Page Six, the ‘Ain’t Yo Mama’ hitmaker delivered a dazzling, high-energy show, cycling through a series of striking ensembles that added to the wedding’s spectacle.
Lopez made her grand entrance draped in an elegant pale-pink saree before shifting into a bold black cut-out bodysuit that commanded the spotlight.
Her third look was a radiant gold collection complete with a harmonising jacket, gleaming under the stage lights. She closed her set in a dramatic, gem-encrusted, high-cut bodysuit paired with crystal-adorned knee-high boots, a finale look befitting the grandeur of the night.
Singing vibrantly, the 56-year-old thrilled the high-profile guests with her chart-toppers, including “Waiting for Tonight” and “Get Right”.
In a widely shared social media clip, Lopez wrapped up her performance by inviting the wealthy couple on stage for a celebratory toast to their new life together.
“May these families be united on this gorgeous day, and God bless us all,” the ‘Love Don’t Cost a Thing’ star said.

Bride Netra is the daughter of Rama Raju Mantena, a prominent figure in the pharmaceutical industry, while her new husband, Gadiraju, is a highly successful technology innovator.
Netra’s father, Rama Raju, currently serves as Chairman and CEO of Ingenus Pharmaceuticals. Gadiraju, on his part, is the co-founder and chief technology officer of food-delivery platform Superorder, and according to Page Six, he was featured in the Forbes 30 Under 30 list last year.
The extravagant four-day celebration was filled with jubilant moments as the couple and their guests revelled in the festivities. In another picture shared by the outlet, Donald Trump Jr and Anderson were seen joining the couple on stage, dancing and celebrating in traditional Indian attire.
Jennifer Lopez was not the only entertainer on the star-studded lineup, though she remained the most anticipated act. The wedding, which kicked off on November 20, concluded on November 23 with Lopez’s headline performance.
Social media users reacted with mixed emotions to the ‘On the Floor’ singer’s skimpy stage outfits. Instagram user Suneeta wrote, “So she decides to dress like this for a wedding performance in India? Massive cultural-sensitivity fail.” Another, Rafah, added, “What is she wearing? Anyways congratulations to the happy couple.”
The performance comes after Grammy-award winning artiste Rihanna performed at Indian tycoon Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s Lavish Pre-Wedding in 2024.
Dressed in a custom green lace dress with Swarovski embellishments and an embroidered satin cap with an organza sari hood, she performed her hit songs such as ‘Diamonds’ and ‘Umbrella.’
The Fenty beauty mogul and billionaire was reportedly paid $6 million (Sh.777,600,000) to give the highly-awaited performance after years of not performing.
