President William Ruto and First Lady Rachael Ruto dazzled their way into the glamorous wedding of Moses Budamba Mudavadi, son of Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi, and his bride, Qillian Ndeso Saiya.

The President cut a striking figure in an immaculate all-white Kaunda suit, tailored with clean, sharp lines and paired with a matching fedora that gave his look a refined, vintage elegance.

Mama Rachael Ruto complemented him in a flowing, deep-red gown that stood out beautifully against the ceremony’s décor, adding a touch of regal warmth to the occasion.

The bride wore a white off-shoulder gown, while the groom donned a black tuxedo.

The celebrations took place on Saturday at the Ulinzi Sports Complex in Lang’ata, Nairobi.

In a post on X, Mama Rachael Ruto said the couple looked “breathtaking” as they celebrated their special day.

Wishing them a blessed union, the First Lady wrote: “We celebrate Qillian and Moses as they begin their journey together as one. May their hearts remain united, their home be filled with grace, and their love shine as a testament to what unfolds when two souls surrender to God’s purpose.”

She added: “As they step into this new chapter, we speak blessings of joy, wisdom, and lifelong companionship over their union. Congratulations on your wedding, Qillian and Moses!”

During the ceremony, President Ruto underscored the importance of family as the foundation of society, urging young Kenyans to embrace marriage,  praising the newlyweds and terming their union a proud moment for their families.

“This moment is a very proud moment. I know how Tessie and Musalia feel because as parents, when you bring up children, you pray for them, you take them to school, and one day you want them to have a family like the way we do,” he said.

Later, Ruto took to social media to share photos from the event.

“Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love — Ephesians 4:2. Our best wishes to Qillian Ndeso Saiya and Moses Budamba Mudavadi in your marriage,” he wrote.

Kenyans on social media shared their reactions to the lavish ceremony, with many congratulating the newlyweds.

Mobisa Mogaka wrote on X: “Congratulations to the newly-wed couple. May God shower their wedding with blessings.”
