LB El Presidente is stepping boldly into a new artistic era, unveiling a polished Pop and R&B sound that signals one of the most intentional reinventions in Kenya’s contemporary music scene.
His latest single, All Eyes On You, marks a departure from the gritty hip-hop roots that first defined him and introduces a smoother, radio-ready style anchored in emotion, melody and vulnerability.
“This release represents a major shift in my sound and direction,” LB says.
“I’m evolving from a more hardcore hip-hop style into a cleaner, more polished Pop/R&B sound that feels ready for radio.”
It is a transformation he has embraced with conviction, treating 2025 as the year he broadens his range and steps fully into the identity of a global artist.
At the heart of the project lies a modern love story told with refreshing honesty. Far from a typical romantic track, the record feels like an intimate confession.
“‘All Eyes On You’ is a love story, real, modern, and honest,” he says. “It’s about meeting someone who truly shifts your world and choosing them through the spark, the connection, and the imperfections.”
Looking ahead, LB has his sights set firmly on 2026 the year he plans to cement a signature sound that listeners can instantly associate with him.
“My main goal for 2026 is to build a recognisable sonic identity,” he states. He hopes to achieve this through more live performances, expanded audiences and “a consistent stream of high-quality music that blends emotion, melody, and modern production.”
In his own words, next year is about “elevating everything: presence, consistency, and impact.”
A major milestone on the horizon is his upcoming debut album, The Inauguration, which he describes as the culmination of a new artistic chapter.
It will explore a refined fusion of R&B, Afro-fusion and soft hip-hop, with bigger hooks and an international feel.
Alongside the album, he is preparing a collaborative project featuring artists from Kenya and across Africa, a move he hopes will help create “a sound that feels rooted here but speaks to audiences everywhere.”
