Kenyan Afro-pop singer Miss Kamweru is rounding off a defining year with the release of her new single Enda Ukienda.

The track marks her final offering of the year and sees her tap into Nairobi’s rapidly rising Oontz sound, a wave currently reshaping the city’s urban music scene.

In the song, Miss Kamweru leans into a rhythmic, minimalist production style that creates space for repetition, emotion and a sense of release.

Produced by Vic West, the record carries a steady pulse that allows her vocals to take centre stage, while the Oontz-inspired lift in the instrumental injects a feeling of freedom throughout the track.

Describing the song, she calls it “a powerful anthem about healing and walking away from a love that keeps hurting you.”

Though the lyrics are raw and direct, the tone refuses to dwell in heartbreak. Instead, the song moves with intention, celebrating the liberation that comes with choosing oneself.

She co-wrote the track with celebrated Kenyan songwriter Mercury, whose pen has shaped numerous contemporary hits. The official visuals, filmed in Nairobi.

Enda Ukienda arrives at the end of a successful year for Miss Kamweru, highlighted by a standout collaboration with Iyanii that propelled her to a wider national audience.

Formerly part of the widely acclaimed duo Band BeCa, Miss Kamweru has been steadily redefining her artistic identity through her solo work.

With five singles now under her belt, she continues to demonstrate a refined sound that blends maturity, sonic depth and a commitment to elevating Kenyan music on the global stage.

Beyond her musical pursuits, she is also an accomplished voice-over artist and commercial model known for her charisma and versatility.
