Standard Media Group journalist Maureen Wanjiku tied the knot in a vibrant wedding on Saturday, December 13, at PCEA Rehema Church, Bahati Parish in Nakuru.
Maureen joyfully said “I do” to her smiling partner, Joseph Kariuki, in a ceremony attended by friends, family, and colleagues who celebrated the couple’s special day.
The couple could barely hide their joy as they joined guests in singing and dancing to gospel tunes, occasionally joined by elated attendees.
The bride looked radiant in a white, off-shoulder wedding gown and simple braided hairstyle, while her bridesmaids dazzled in bright orange dresses.
The groom, Elder Joseph Kariuki, complemented the celebration in a navy blue suit, white shirt, and orange tie.
The couple received numerous gifts and congratulatory messages from loved ones and social media fans.
One YouTube comment from Jane Karuingi read, “Congratulations! Continue to keep Jesus Christ at the centre of your marriage. From millions of KTN viewers across the world.”
In a heartfelt statement, the newlyweds expressed gratitude to all who attended their wedding.
“We sincerely appreciate your support during our wedding, in the way God enabled you. We are truly grateful for your presence, prayers, words of encouragement, congratulatory messages, active participation, and generous contributions,” the couple wrote.
“May God bless you abundantly, and may He always be there for you in times of need. He who sees in secret will surely reward you openly,” they concluded.
