The TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2025 is expected to come to life in a spectacle where music stars French Montana and Davido are headlining the tournament’s official kick-off later today.
The ceremony will be happening at the OLM Souissi Fan Zone in Rabat. Running from 6pm to midnight local time.
The free-entry concert will fuse football, music and African creativity into one electrifying night, setting the tone for the continent’s biggest sporting showpiece.
Organisers say the line-up reflects their aim of promoting African unity, creativity and youth.
Headlining the show is French Montana, US-based rapper born in Morocco, whose appearance has been framed as a symbolic homecoming.
The global star has built a huge international following through albums such as Excuse My French and Jungle Rules, as well as chart-topping hits including Unforgettable.
Davido will also take to the stage as one of the acts. Widely regarded as one of Africa’s most influential modern artists, he has played a key role in the global rise of Afrobeats through albums including A Good Time, A Better Time and Timeless.
Morocco’s own Douaa Lahyaoui will represent the host nation, showcasing a sound that blends pop, urban styles and local identity.
Rising performer Says’z is set to bring youthful energy to the Rabat fan zone with his modern urban sound.
Franco-Moroccan artist Lartiste adds further diversity to the line-up. Known for mixing genres, languages and cultures, he has produced several gold and platinum-selling singles and albums, amassing hundreds of millions of views across Africa, Europe and the Middle East.
His performance, the organisers says, aligns with AFCON 2025’s broader vision: a tournament built on diversity, exchange and shared experience.
The tournament officially kicks off in 21 December 2025 till 18 January 2026, bringing together 24 qualified national teams from Africa.
