Esther Musila heaps praise on Guardian Angel on his birthday, wedding anniversary

Gospel singer Guardian Angel celebrated his birthday on Wednesday, a day that also marked a milestone in his marriage to Esther Musila.

Taking to social media, Esther poured her heart out in a deeply emotional message that left fans swooning, celebrating not only her husband’s new year but also their wedding anniversary.

“Happy birthday my love, my G, my best friend, my cherished friend, my confidant,” she wrote, setting the tone for what became a moving tribute.

Esther praised Guardian Angel for the love, friendship and humility he brings into her life, thanking him for the small yet powerful moments — from late-night laughter to early-morning kisses and unwavering support through life’s journey.

“My heart is filled with gratitude for the love and friendship that comes from you,” she added, noting that every moment they have shared has been memorable.

As he stepped into another year, Esther wished him happiness, good health, joy and prosperity, ending the message with a touching declaration of love to “the twinkle of my eye” and the man she loves “from the bottom of my heart.”

The Penda hitmaker responded with a short but equally affectionate message, calling Esther his “Queen,” thanking her warmly and wishing her a happy anniversary as well.

The exchange quickly drew admiration online, with fans praising the couple for their openness, affection and steady bond, which continues to defy public scrutiny and expectations.

Guardian Angel’s marriage to Esther Musila became a major subject of public discussion primarily due to their 20-year age gap.

When the couple went public with their relationship, Esther was 51 and Guardian Angel was 31.

This unconventional dynamic sparked intense debate across social media and mainstream media in Kenya.

However, both Guardian Angel and Esther Musila have been very open about their bond.

They frequently share glimpses of their life on social media, using their platform to advocate for the idea that “love wins” and that individuals should prioritise their own happiness over societal expectations.
