Kenyan car dealer and entrepreneur Khalif Kairo is in mourning following the death of his mother.
In a social media post shared on Saturday, Kairo revealed that his family had lost their mother following a prolonged illness.
“We lost our mum earlier today after a long and bravely fought battle with illness,” he wrote, adding, “Our hearts are heavy, but we are grateful to God for the time, love, memories, and lessons she gave us.”
Kairo described his mother as a strong woman who endured her illness with courage and dignity.

He, however, did not disclose further details about the illness or funeral arrangements.
Following the announcement, messages of condolence poured in from followers and friends, many offering prayers and words of comfort to the family during the difficult period.
“My heart aches for you and your family. There are truly no words deep enough for a loss this significant. I am praying that you feel carried by love and that you find God’s peace that passes all understanding in the quiet moments. She will always be a part of you,” one wrote.
Kairo is a Nairobi-based entrepreneur best known in Kenya’s automotive industry and on social media.
