Two Kenyan women secretly filmed by Russian national Yaytseslav Trahov have broken their silence, revealing how their encounters later went online.
Choice Kinoti, who trended after a viral clip showed her washing clothes for Trahov and asking to be taken abroad, spoke to 2mbili.
According to Choice, she did not know the videos would be uploaded, though she had noticed he frequently wore smart recording glasses.
She said they were in a relationship and that he had travelled to Kenya specifically to see her, adding that she knew he was a streamer.
“I don’t think I would have accepted being recorded in bed. Maybe a video exists, but it’s because we were dating. He was always recording, and that made us uncomfortable,” she said, adding that most content involved everyday activities such as cooking and cleaning.
“He told me he does streaming for his living and travels around the world, so I thought it was just documenting daily life, breakfast, washing dishes, cooking together,” she said.
Choice gave varying and conflicting accounts of how they met, later claiming it happened at the airport while she was travelling to Mombasa.
She said they spent about 50–60 days together in Diani, Nyali, Mombasa, and Nairobi.
“He used to cook for me, so as a lady, I have to clean up. I am a 50/50 type of woman. My love language is acts of service. I washed dishes and some of his clothes, even though he had a washing machine and help,” she said.
Another woman, Kalekye, who also appeared in videos allegedly recorded by Trahov, shared her side with Flossytruekid.

She said they met in Ngara in March 2025.
“He asked if we could talk in the evening. I gave him my number, thinking we might meet later,” she said.
Kalekye said he later sent a BnB location, but she never went.
“For those saying I went, I never went. From there, I never met him again. If he had been consistent, maybe things would have been different,” she added.
Trahov is now at the center of a coordinated legal push by both Kenya and Ghana after he shared footage of non-consensual sexual encounters with women in both nations.
While the Kenyan government has stated it is pursuing the case with “urgency” to address the exploitation, Ghana has taken a step further by announcing its intent to formally request his extradition from Russia to face criminal charges.
