Chris Brown is building anticipation for his upcoming 12th studio album ‘Brown’, unveiling a star-studded list of featured artists through a creative, nostalgia-driven rollout.
The announcement came on May 5, his 37th birthday, via a vintage-inspired black-and-white Instagram video styled like a 1950s or 1960s television special.
Framed as “A Night of Soul” at the fictional “House of Brown,” the clip reimagined each collaborator as a classic-era performer.
The project brings together a wide mix of talent across R&B, hip-hop and dancehall, including Leon Thomas, Tank, Vybz Kartel, Bryson Tiller, NBA YoungBoy, GloRilla, Fridayy, Sexyy Red and Lucky Daye.
The lineup points to a genre-blending album, pairing smooth R&B melodies with rap and Caribbean influences.
Fans have reacted with particular excitement to the pairing of Chris Brown and Lucky Daye, which many are calling a standout collaboration.
The 27-track album will include previously released singles such as “Obvious,” “Fallin’,” “Holy Blindfold” and “It Depends,” offering an early glimpse of the project’s direction.
Outside music, the rollout comes amid reports of a shooting incident near Brown’s Los Angeles home, though it did not disrupt the album campaign.
He also recently welcomed a new baby, bringing his total number of children to four.
Looking ahead, Brown is set to tour with Usher on a 33-date North American stadium run beginning June 26 in Denver and ending December 11 in Tampa Bay, marking a busy year for the R&B star.
