The suspect was later arrested armed with a kitchen knife after the shocking incident in Bosto village in Konoin, Bomet. Area police commandant Edward Imbwaga said the suspect was apprehended by members of the public as he attempted to flee the scene. The reason behind the gruesome act remains unclear, but authorities suspect it may be related to family disputes.
