Over 130 passengers have been left stranded at the Central Railway Station in Nairobi Monday night following heavy flooding that disrupted commuter train services to the Syokimau Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) station.

Passenger who had boarded the commuter train were asked to await alternative means by buses which were being mobilized to ferry passengers to Syokimau SGR.

According to the Station Master Nairobi Absalom Kainga they are arranging for buses to ferry passengers to the SGR in Syokimau.

He promised passengers that the train will not depart until all passenger who are booked to travel by the commuter train get there.

As of 9.15pm the passengers are still anxiously waiting to board the Kenya Railway buses
