Kenyan volleyball clubs KPA and GSU registered wins during the third day of the ongoing Africa Men’s Volleyball Club Championship in Misrata,Libya.
GSU who opened their group B campaign with a 3-0 win against Genie Republic dismissed Algeria’s Club Arzew Sportif three sets to one of 25-21, 21-25, 25-18 ,25-22 to keep alive their hopes of advancing to the knock out phase.
GSU will be targeting to maintain their winning form when they face Fath Union of Morocco.
Meanwhile KPA defeated Libya’s Al Nasr in three straight sets to register their first win after losing their opening group A match to APR of Rwanda.
In a commanding performance KPA won the encounter 25-23 , 25-20 and 25-10, they next face Esperance De Tunis on Wednesday.
Kenya’s third outfit in the championship Kenya Prisons who lost by three straights to Cameroon’s PAD in their opener will face Ethiopia’s Wolaita Dicha Sports Club on Tuesday.
The 46th edition of the championship has brough together a total of 24 clubs drawn from 11-countries.
