Businessman Khalif Kairo is recuperating in a Nairobi hospital after a severe accident that left him with a fractured left hand.

He shared an image on X from his hospital bed, his left arm in a sling, flashing a peace sign with a broad smile.

In the post, he attributed his survival to divine protection, stating, “Had a major accident this afternoon that left me with a fractured left hand but I am in great spirits and all glory goes to GOD. Due for a minor surgery shortly, praying that all shall be well and we will keep pushing.”

The accident’s specifics remain unclear. But early today morning he posted another photo with details that his minor surgery had gone well.

“Surgery went well, I appreciate your prayers and well wishes. May God bless you,” he posted.

Kairo’s attitude amid adversity is not new. He has on numerous occasions he has faced high-profile arrest linked to allegations of fraud and misrepresentation in his car dealership business, but still kept a positive attitude all through.

Since December 2024, Kairo has been arrested multiple times, his legal troubles unfolding in a pattern that raises questions about his business dealings.

While he blamed economic turbulence and business rivalry for his predicament, the increasing number of complaints suggests deeper issues within his operations.

Kairo, however, maintained that his business was legitimate, claiming he successfully sold over 300 cars worth Sh1 billion in 2024.

It has been barely a month since he was freed from prison after serving time locked in after failing to raise Sh2 Million bond.

In his return to social media, he posted a short message thanking all those who stood by him during his difficult moment behind bars and also did not forget to thank God.

“Glory to God and thanks to the unwavering support,” he posted.
