Nairobi’s creative scene is set for an electrifying moment as ChezaCheza All Stars take the stage on Sunday, August 3, 2025, with their new dance production Eye of the Storm – 2025 at the Jain Bhavan Auditorium in Loresho.
The production doubles as a fundraising initiative for the launch of the All Stars Academy – Creative Arts Studio, a cutting-edge facility designed to support emerging dancers through mentorship, structured training, and performance opportunities.
The studio, according to the team at Cheza Cheza, aims to be more than a creative space. It will be a safe haven where young people use dance as a vehicle for emotional healing, personal empowerment, and social change.
“This studio will be a game-changer,” said Natasha R. Sifa, a Project Lead. “It’s not just about steps and choreography. It’s about helping young people move through trauma, build confidence, and take charge of their future.”
Eye of the Storm is a deeply emotive and visually stunning performance, combining movement and storytelling to spotlight pressing global themes such as climate change, inequality, and social injustice.
It promises an unforgettable experience of raw energy, resilience, and artistic brilliance from a group of youth who are no strangers to adversity.
Tickets are priced at Sh4,000, with all proceeds going toward the development of the Creative Arts Studio.
ChezaCheza All Stars is a movement powered by young dancers from marginalized communities, known for turning struggle into strength and the stage into a platform for hope and advocacy.
