Tanzanian R&B star Juma Jux and his Nigerian wife, model and influencer Priscilla Ajoke, have announced they are expecting their first child together, just months after hosting a series of stunning wedding ceremonies.

The couple took to Instagram to share the exciting news with a heartfelt maternity shoot that quickly captured the attention of fans and fellow celebrities.

Priscilla posted the images with the simple yet emotional caption, “MOM & DAD”, a phrase that sparked an outpouring of love and congratulatory messages.

In the photos, Priscilla is seen glowing in a white crop top and jeans as she cradles her baby bump and displays ultrasound images of her growing pregnancy.

Jux, standing beside her, reacts playfully in one frame and tenderly kisses her belly in another, images that beautifully capture their joy and anticipation.

The pregnancy announcement comes just months after the couple’s widely talked-about weddings, which unfolded like a modern-day fairy tale across two countries.

In April 2025, Juma Jux and Priscilla officially tied the knot in a vibrant traditional Nigerian wedding that celebrated Priscilla’s Yoruba roots.

The ceremony was a spectacle of culture, with the couple donning traditional attire, taking part in rich cultural rituals, and dancing alongside family and friends in a colourful display of love and unity.

Not long after, the couple exchanged vows once more in a more intimate ceremony held in Dar es Salaam. Priscilla wore a sleek white gown, while Jux chose a crisp ivory suit for the occasion.

The Tanzanian celebration was serene and romantic, a perfect contrast to the energetic festivity witnessed in Nigeria.

The announcement of their baby has added a new chapter to their already captivating love story. It will be their first child together, and comes as both are enjoying successful careers—Jux continuing to dominate music charts with his soulful hits, and Priscilla thriving in the fashion and influencer world.

Fans from across the continent have flooded the couple’s comment sections, celebrating the union of East and West African cultures not just in matrimony, but now in parenthood.
