Fun lovers are in for a special treat this festive season, with Nigerian star Asake announcing that his ‘Mr. Money African Tour’ will kick off in Nairobi this December.

The hitmaker is scheduled to perform in the Kenyan capital on 20 December, before taking the stage in Lagos on 24 December and Côte d’Ivoire on 27 December.

The shows mark a major return for the chart-topping singer, who has spent much of 2025 performing, recording, and promoting his music internationally. It will be his first series of concerts on the continent in some time.

The announcement comes with added excitement as fans continue to await the release of his highly anticipated album ‘Mr. Money’, which has been teased throughout the year but is yet to drop.

Asake has enjoyed a strong 2025 run, releasing two solo singles, ‘Why Love’ and ‘Badman Gangsta’ featuring French artist Tiakola – both of which have dominated African streaming charts.

He has also delivered standout guest features on several local and international hits, including ‘Che Che’ with Young Jonn, ‘99’ with Olamide, ‘Gold’ with UK rapper J Hus, and ‘Satisfaction’ with American rapper Gunna.

While further details about his Nairobi show are yet to be confirmed, December is shaping up to be a busy entertainment month, with American singer Joe, Solfest, and Blankets & Wine also on the festive line-up.
