Afrobeats sensation Oluwatosin “Mr Eazi” Ajibade reportedly paid $1 million (shilling 129,190,000) to fly American singer John Legend from the United States to Iceland for a live performance at his wedding.

The event, part of a series of ceremonies across multiple countries, has captured global attention following Legend’s revelation during a recent stream with Kai Cenat.

It is reported that Mr Eazi’s wife told him that she wanted John Legend’s song, “All Of Me” to be played at their wedding and in a show of extravagance and opulence,
Eazi brought John Legend to perform the song for her live in person.

The high profile wedding celebration spanned Monaco, Dubai, and Iceland, as detailed in a Vogue feature.

The couple’s nuptials began with a proposal in Venice in 2022, followed by three distinct wedding ceremonies in 2025.

The first was held in Monaco, followed by a traditional Yoruba ceremony at the Otedola family home in Dubai, and finally the white wedding in Iceland

The Iceland event, however, stood out for its unique setting and the inclusion of John Legend.

The couple collaborated with Califano Productions and stylists Carrie Goldberg and Momo Hassan-Odukale to craft a memorable series of events, blending Nigerian heritage with international flair.

According to Vogue, Temi described Iceland as “our favorite place on earth.”

The wedding began with a rehearsal dinner at the Harpa Opera House in Reykjavik , for which the bride wore a Valentino dress and cape.

The next day, Temi walked down the aisle in an Audrey Hepburn–inspired Fendi Haute Couture gown at the Hallgrimskirkja church as an organist played Wagner’s “Bridal Chorus.”

Eazi waited for her in head-to-toe Saint Laurent. “Everything needed to feel very darkly romantic and natural,” Temi told Vogue.

The pastor from their church in London, Holy Trinity Brompton, officiated the ceremony.
