Kenya’s gospel star Dan Mogore has unveiled his 2025 single One Day, a powerful collaboration with Tanzania’s celebrated vocalist Walter Chilambo.
The track, lifted off Mogore’s upcoming album of the same name, is already drawing praise for its uplifting message and top-notch production.
Far from a typical gospel release, One Day arrives as a cinematic experience.
Directed by Nezzoh Montana, the music video shifts from Arusha’s sweeping landscapes to the bustling streets of Dar es Salaam, matching the soaring vocals with stunning visuals.
“It was costly, but worth every coin. Gospel music videos need to be top-tier because that’s the international standard. It’s about time we up our game,” Mogore told TNX.
The single boasts an all-star team behind the scenes, with production by Music Doctor, mixing and mastering by Teddy B, and songwriting credits shared between Mogore and Chilambo.
The result is a polished anthem that fuses soulful East African flair with a universal message of hope.
“We wrote One Day to inspire people everywhere to hold on and trust God’s faithfulness. It’s a declaration that whatever He promised, He’ll deliver, in His perfect timing,” Mogore explained.
The collaboration marks a bold cross-border move in East African gospel, with Chilambo’s velvet-smooth vocals adding depth to the track.
