Diana Dee, wife to entertainer VJ Patelo, has officially announced that she is pregnant.
In a video message titled “Special Announcement,” Dee shared that she would not join her husband for a scheduled show in Lodwar due to pregnancy-related health issues.
“To all my fans, I am sorry I couldn’t make it. I am not feeling well because I am pregnant. I won’t make it until next time. You will have a blast with my husband,” she said.
The couple gained widespread attention after their lavish yet unconventional garden wedding in Nairobi, which Patelo claimed cost Sh500 million.
The two wore matching white outfits — Patelo’s suit, he said, cost Sh1.7 million, while Diana’s gown was valued at Sh1.6 million.
Their ceremony mixed luxury with street swagger, blending bold streetwear elements, flashy accessories, and urban slang into a high-end setting. Some guests arrived in a nganya, while the groom’s close friends made a grand entrance in a black limousine.
Videos of the wedding quickly went viral, sparking mixed reactions online — particularly after Patelo revealed he was 26 and Diana 29.
In response to criticism over their age difference, Patelo defended his wife in a viral Facebook video, saying, “Cheki, mumama ni wangu sawa, mali ni yangu, wewe piga panganga. Diana ni wangu, tafuta wako wa Porsche Cayenne.”
Dee’s pregnancy announcement has drawn similar public attention, with many fans sharing congratulatory messages online.
“Congratulations mama,” wrote Joylene Nanjala on Instagram, while another fan, Ludic Starboy, joked, “Mtoto atadhani Patelo ni brother yake.” Tunechi added, “Ni kama vile Sarah alijifungua Isaac.”
